Mussoorie
Mussoorie is one of the most popular hill stations of India. Perched on a horse shoe shaped Himalayan ridge, Mussoorie, situated at an elevation of more than 6000 feet, offers scenic views of snow-capped mountains of Western Garhwal.
Often referred to as the Queen of the Hills, Mussoorie was first identified as a place to be a hill station by two British officers – Frederick Young and F J Shore. The hill station is not just one of the best places to escape from scorching summer heat, but also one of the nicest places to enjoy snowfall.
